topVOX wins Logistics Business IT Award

topvox wins logistics award

Two awards: topVOX UK received the Logistics Business IT Award in London for its Pick by Voice solution LYDIA®Plug&Play – not in one but in two categories.

In the category “Wearable Devices & Voice Technology in Logistics” the panel of experts honoured the solution for its application at Seico Optical UK. In the category “Logistics IT in the Retail & Wholesale sector” the voice application at the customer Skoolkit excelled. Every year the English publisher Business Logistics IT awards a prize for the most successful logistics and IT projects and evaluates their practical feasibility. Participating for the first time the voice specialist topVOX was able to gain an edge over numerous renowned competitors.

60 percent more picks and an error rate reduced by more than two thirds: not only did these results convince topVOX’s customer, the lens manufacturer Seiko Optical UK, but also the panel of experts of the Logistics Business IT Award. Thanks to LYDIA®Plug&Play topVOX’s customer Skoolkit, provider of school uniforms, can do without temporary workers for seasonal business and offers its customers more transparency and higher planning security. This means for topVOX: two awards in one sweep for two successful projects in Great Britain.

The solution: LYDIA® Plug&Play

As a Pick by Voice application the preconfigured full package LYDIA® Plug&Play is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized companies with up to 25 users. The technology comprises all necessary components: software, hardware and all functions for individual warehouse management. This ensures cost transparency. Moreover the system is based on the latest voice recognition technology; speakers are recognized regardless of accent or dialect, even without previous voice training. Individual voice profiles must not be established elaborately – staff members can get started immediately.
